As a member of our General Ledger accounting group, the Senior Accountant will have an integral part in the day to day operations of the Corporate Accounting Department and have contact with other Corporate/General Office departments and manufacturing personnel.
The Job responsibilities:
Contribute in completion of monthly, quarterly and year end closings
Reconcile and analyze monthly reviews of various Account Analysis
Analyze, prepare, track and input AS400 journal entries
Prepare and Assist in Legal Entity statements and reviews
Prepare and review various quarter disclosure forms
Prepare, analyze and review monthly S&A variance reports
Assist in Division month end, quarter and YE financial book preparation & distribution
Perform printing and distributing AP checks when needed
Active member of the monthly I/C reviews and follow-ups
Assist in GO forecasting (RFs), Budgets and Actuals. Check Consolidated results in OneStream Financial Reporting
Perform InterCompany Billings and relevant accounting JEs & account Reconciliations
Assist in Other Dept duties and Special Projects as deemed appropriate
Job Requirements
The Job Requirements:
BS in Accounting
Proficiency in MS Excel required.
Financial Consolidation and AS400 experience a plus
Manages time effectively and prioritizes completing tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently
Demonstrates strong work ethic and the desire to learn.
Meticulous attention to detail and committed to producing high-quality work.
