Financial Cost Analyst, Senior

The Challenge:

Provide compliance, financial, and budget analyses of indirect and fringe costs for an energy-related project portfolio. Review and analyze performer-submitted indirect and fringe rate proposals for compliance with agency and federal regulations. Perform in-depth financial analysis of indirect and fringe costs against OMB and FAR cost regulations. Interface with programmatic, contracts, and finance teams daily to resolve any outstanding indirect or fringe cost issues and assist the programmatic teams with any specific performer financial questions related to fringe and indirect cost. Provide performance management analysis to leadership tracking progress of indirect rate negotiations and indirect and fringe rates in the context of total budget submissions. Assist with supporting any ad-hoc financial tasks, including budget review, financial viability reviews, and accounting practices analysis. Maintain current awareness of FAR and OMB cost regulations.

You Have:

* 2+ years of experience with financial analysis, accounting, or auditing
* Experience with financial and compliance review
* Knowledge of indirect costs, indirect rates, and common financial statements, including income statement and general ledger
* Knowledge of OMB and FAR cost regulations
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree

* MA or MS degree, or MBA degree in Accounting or Finance
