The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Strategy Director will provide oversight, guidance and documentation to highlight Truists competitive position, long-term strategy, and shorter-term tactics to improve DEI performance.
This position will develop and lead the business strategies across DEI to execute integration activities, drive strategic targets, evaluate key processes, consider organizational design and enforce adaptive change and enable operations performance. Serves as the owner of design and implementation for large scale projects and initiatives. Serves as a main advisor to the Chief DEI Officer.

* Responsible for providing comprehensive reporting, milestones, metrics and deliverables to the DEI team.
* Manages and contributes to the companys strategic DEI planning process; driving a quality work-product for the team, executive leadership, the board of directors, and other key constituents.
* Through participating in strategy sessions, enterprise wide initiatives and day-to-day DEI sessions, this teammate will develop strategic recommendations, implement plans and provide monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting.
* This incumbent will Influence DEI strategic decisions and conduct performance assessments to ensure alignment with Truists DEI strategy and progress towards realizing results.
Required Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 15+ years of direct experience developing successful enterprise talent programs or related
2.Excellent consulting, collaboration, organizational, and change management skills
3.Extensive experience leading complex projects related to strategy development, communication, and marketing
4.Ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity, change, and rapid pace
5.Strong attention to detail with the ability to flex to the strategic level
6.10+ years of experience in technical marketing platforms (i.e. marketing automation, SEO tool/platforms, social media marketing, pay-per-click advertising, CRM, business intelligence, tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Omniture, etc.)
7.Deep working experience with digital agencies, system integrators, or marketing service providers is preferred

1. Previous experience working in the Human Resources space, including recruiting, organizational design, employee relations, and talent management preferred
