Summary:

Help us protect Aptiv, our products and our customers from the most advanced threats affecting the automotive industry. Aptivs Cybersecurity team breaks the mold of traditional internal security and focuses on active threats to Aptivs products. Product Security Operations is a growing team within Aptiv Cybersecurity working to protect Aptiv products through threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response. As a Vulnerability Project Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and enforcement of the product vulnerability management process. You will lead the tracking, execution, analysis and reporting of cyber risks and vulnerabilities impacting Aptiv products.

Your Role:

* Coordinate and enforce vulnerability management process for vulnerabilities impact Aptiv products

* Lead the project management activities related to the Vulnerability Management program, including tracking, execution, analysis and reporting of cyber risks and vulnerabilities

* Establish project objectives and key results that ensure successful follow through and remediation of identified risks

* Work with product teams and effectively communicate the risks of identified vulnerabilities and make recommendations

* Engage various internal stakeholders including engineering, legal, communications, and other relevant teams to conduct holistic response management on identified vulnerabilities and the remediation efforts

* Establish metrics and regular reporting mechanisms for measuring compliance and performance of vulnerability management

* Ensure associated stakeholders are provided with timely relevant information related to remediation status activities

* Compile lessons learned and informational reports for engineering teams

Your Background:

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

* 5+ years' experience in project management

* Experience working in the automotive industry

* Knowledge of managing the entire lifecycle of vulnerabilities from discovery, triage, advising, remediation, and validation

* High level of oral and written communication skills

* Excellent organization, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

* Ability to communicate and present complex issues and ideas with precision and clarity, adjusting appropriately for the audience; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

Your Preferred Background:

* Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

* 8+ years' experience in Project Management

* PMP and Agile Certifications

* Experience supporting & managing vulnerability and incident management activities

* Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response

* Knowledge of common risk assessment methodologies.

* Familiar with cybersecurity mitigations (encryption, certificate management, TLS, wireless communication protection, firewalls, etc.)

* Experience configuring and fluent with POSIX based OS(s) e.g. Linux, QNX, etc.
