Global Ethics & Compliance Specialist
Function Overview
Support the Global Ethics & Compliance team in the areas of: administration and data analytics for the Whirlpool Integrity Line (i.e., global hotline); provide programs & systems support; training administration and delivery; global communications plan execution. Operational support to Global Ethics & Compliance Practice Group (center of excellence), including records retention, document management, template maintenance, and preparation of presentations and other materials.
Job Responsibilities
* Maintain discretion and highest levels of integrity, managing potentially sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis
* Global hotline administration, including case triage, and metrics reporting and data analytics
* Preparation of governance and reporting documentation, including Audit Committee, Ethics & Compliance Steering Committee, and Global Ethics & Compliance Committee materials and documentation; maintenance of governance and reporting documentation and all relevant forms and templates
* Compliance training program administration and support, including support online training deployment; tracking in-person training; partnering with HR, HR Operations, Learning and Development (L&D), Communications, and Compliance subject matter experts (SMEs) for curriculum and content development; maintenance of training records and materials
* Maintaining Global Ethics & Compliance Practice Group documentation and working files, shared drive, and practice group training materials, policies, and procedures
* Project management support to Global Ethics & Compliance initiatives, including support and maintenance of Integrity Manual risk owner management system and related templates and records
* Manage the Ethics & Compliance website (internal), including ensuring compliance information (policies, training, etc) is up to date, partnering with Communications, Global Information Systems (GIS)
* Work with Corporate Communications to manage changes to the portal and whirlpoolcorp.com (external) compliance resources
* Generally support and track execution of Global Ethics & Compliance Communications strategy in close partnering with Communications
* Maintain the interactive version of the Integrity Manual
* Support management of key vendor relationships (including SAI (online training), NAVEX (hotline), KPMG (investigations support))
* Collaborate and coordinate with other corporate functions, including IR, HR, Finance, Communications, on centralized projects related to ethics and compliance
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree, or in lieu of a Bachelors degree a Paralegal degree or Compliance Certificate and 5+ years experience in a publicly traded company
* 2+ years experience as an analyst, project manager, paralegal, compliance or audit professional, or executive administrative assistant experience in corporate office environment
Preferred Requirements
* LMS (Learning Management System) knowledge
* Technical experience needed:
* Advanced knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites
* Microsoft Excel and Word
* Adobe Pro
* Data mining and analytics
* Strong communication skills, written and oral
* Self motivated with a high level of independence and accountability
* Project Management skills and strong sense of organization
* Ability to work with colleagues across all locations and all levels of the organization from peer groups to senior leadership
