We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team! This person will provide financial support to the North American Ride Performance business unit by using leadership skill and technical ability to provide accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and critical business insight. Contribute to the strategic and annual operating plans. Manage key financial, internal control, and audit processes. Role will require occasional travel to Monroe, MI offices.

Responsibilities:
* Manage the NAOE Ride Performance business unit's month-end close process.
* Ensure that the business unit's financial reports accurately reflect financial performance in accordance with GAAP and Tenneco's policies.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and reconciliation schedules.
* Participate in the business planning processes (strategic plan, annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and capital planning) in both leadership and support roles.
* Deliver value-added business analysis that supports the leadership team in identification of opportunities to achieve overall business goals and objectives.
* Facilitate best business practices (BBP) process from a financial perspective and validate continuous improvement project values.
* Ensures plant readiness for all internal / external audits.
* Ensure adherence to Corporate and Divisional accounting/internal control procedures, SOX compliance and reporting requirements for plants within the region.
* Administer, monitor, and manage eRMA activity to ensure that Tenneco optimizes profitability and meets contractual obligations.
* Manage key financial processes to continuously improve efficiency and accuracy of master data.
* Provide support and back up to plant controllers.
* Support product costing and cost estimating processes as necessary.
* Create analyses and reports as well as complete special projects as required.
