Requisition Summary
The Project Manager/Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the integration of systems into Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. The responsibility encompasses programs such as new engines, aftertreatment, and advanced technologies developed for future powertrains. The overarching goal is to ensure compliance with all Division and Corporate standards and on-time implementation of each program. The position also requires parts ordering, tracking, and coordinating of up-fits for test articles both internal and external to the PACCAR Technical Center.

Division Information
The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
* Coordinate projects for integration into Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks
* Maintain open and clear communication among all stakeholders including PACCAR divisions, key suppliers, and development partners
* Assist Program Managers in resolving, communicating, and prioritizing program issues in a timely manner
* Create, track, and communicate program schedules, deliverables, budgets, inventory, and parts installations
* Coordinate build and running of test trucks
* Develop and maintain communication tools for programs
* Coordinates and expedites flow of test related parts between internal and external organizations at the PACCAR Technical Center
* Work closely with department supervisors, technicians, and engineers to order and track materials
* May move or transport materials in the facility manually or using material handling equipment
Qualifications
* Excellent communication and organizational skills required
* Excellent MS Office software skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project required
* Sound business judgment and critical thinking skills required
* Able to communicate effectively across functions, as well as up and down the leadership chain
* Strong understanding of Powertrain Systems Development from simulation through production implementation preferred
* Knowledge of common diesel engine parts and systems preferred
* Strong professional network within PACCAR and with PACCAR Suppliers preferred
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
* Six Sigma certification preferred
* Candidate must be willing to travel up to 25%
Education
* Associates degree required. BS or BA degree preferred
