Lam Research is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager that can help grow out our service business. You will be a part of team that is rapidly growing, and has a high-profile presence within the organization. You will be able to contribute and make a difference in how these services are created, designed and delivered to our valued customers.

The Senior Technical Program Manager responsible for leading teams in the development and productization of advanced diagnostic software products for Lams Service Business. Also responsible for maintaining and updating existing and new Knowledge Management systems software and process architecture into a long-term stable/scalable set of systems to support more than 10,000 engineers located around the world. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong understanding of business needs and be able to seamlessly translate them into requirements and user stories. Direct work in project management and working with developers will be required.

Proven ability in leading, running, overseeing and directing large/complex programs and projects for internal and external end-users from discovery through maintenance and support:

* Creating strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation
* Planning, documenting, and scheduling project goals, milestones, deliverables and plans.
* Coordinating the requirements definition process in conjunction with Product Management for planning, resource allocation and schedule alignment
* Identifying & solving project issues effectively, managing conflicts with local and globally distributed groups, escalating issues when required

* Actively listens, participates, and leads project team activities.
* Takes ownership of assigned tasks with responsibilities of instituting and participating in corrective actions to ensure closure / resolution. Able to make decisions appropriate within grade level and responsibility and escalates decisions in a timely manner that are outside of grade level.
* Experience and proven capability in Agile Frameworks and methodologies such as SAFeAbility to traverse the project, program, and portfolio tiers as well as make constant assessment of feature pipeline, work done and work quality to support decision making on release delivery schedule
* Leads concept and feasibility for new methods, processes, software, or specifications leading to the resolution of complex problems.
* Responsible for detailed analysis, diagnosis and problem solving.
* Collects data, analyze results, generate reports, provide recommendations, and present findings to management teams.
* Strong communication and presentation skills required. Able to draft communications to large audiences, and ability to clearly and concisely communicate to executive level personnel using the proper tools (presentations, white boards, mockups, handouts, etc) as needed.
* Takes an active role in professional development to keep up on existing technologies and learn new technologies.
* Up to 10% travel required to understand field user's needs and requirements

Minimum Qualifications

* BS/BA in Engineering/Computer science or related field.
* 5 7 years plus years of technical leadership and business process management
* 5 7 years plus years of business application knowledge with an emphasis on software product development, operational efficiency, and release management
* Proven ability to make decisions resulting in the successful implementation of technical process or operational changes
* In-depth knowledge of business process development / controls and mapping work-item execution status to organizational objectives
* Required tool experience:
* Jira/Confluence
* Microsoft Office Suite
* SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with of NET, SAP, database structures, and UX
* Experience with Big Data Solutions including experience in HBase, Spark, Kafka and other tools in Hadoop ecosystem.
* Experience with enterprise java applications and development frameworks
