Client Billing Operations supports the end to end Billing process for the Global business units within CIB Banking, Markets and Investor Services. Support CIB clients, globally, who use the Treasury Services, Custody, Accounting, Fund Administration, Investment Analytics, Trust & Fiduciary, Transfer Agency, Prime Brokerage, and OTC suite of products. Primary functions include account and product setup, validation of data inputs into the core billing applications, invoice production, validation & delivery.
Job Description
The Fees Implementation Team (FIT) associate role is responsible for accurate and timely setup of new bill points, rules, and billing logic in the billing platform. The position will partner with all CBO internal groups (Billing Setup and Implementation, Client Experience, Controls Inputs and Analysis, and Invoice Production) and external groups (Product, Sales, Client Service, Finance, and Pricing) through interactive reviews and resolution of billing setup inquiries. FIT associate will provide ongoing direction on required approvals, system logic limitations, as well as offer BAU consultations to team members on what is and is not supportable in the billing system. This position is highly analytical and entails daily research and partnership across the team in order to get billing logic updated timely and correctly.
Summary of Responsibilities
* Focus on end-to-end billing setup of new and/or legacy bill points for JPM Investor Services clients. Drive change to create an evolving culture geared towards process improvement, innovation, and effective policy updates. Execute with skill and urgency by defining timelines, communicating ETAs to internal/external stakeholders, and implementing a robust bill point creation process
* Contribute to the team's roadmap by leading strategic initiatives and performing operational requests (aligned to project-oriented assignments concentrated on the setup of new product offerings and legal regulations impacting Investor Services clients). Gain business knowledge of the product/service offerings within JPM Investor Services while focusing on standardization and simplification
* Monitor and report key operational performance indicators and key risks to management, on a weekly/monthly basis, focusing in identifying process improvements/efficiencies and consistency across asset classes and regions
* Analyze errors and control breakdowns, determine root causes & trends & oversee the implementation of remedial action.
