About the team

Position Overview:

As a developer in this team, you will design, implement, and operate the continuous integration and deployment infrastructure, pipeline, and tools, and will perform as a subject matter expert on CI/CD for the engineering organization.

The CI/CD DevOps participates in all phases of the development including design, development, maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure. The CI/CD developer will collaborate with engineering architects and developers of all levels in a global Engineering Organisation.

You must be a team player who is self-motivated, results-oriented, works independently, and have a can-do attitude.



What youll do:

Position title: SAP Successfactors iXp Intern Software Developer

Location: San Ramon, CA (virtual)

Expected start date to end date: June 7th, 2021 - August 13th, 2021



In this role, youll:

* Work closely with architects and senior engineers to design and implement the next-gen CD Ecosystem including pipeline framework, test automation framework, build system, monitor and intelligent analysis.
* Develop DevOps Tools/Services to automating all the process of software life-cycle to improve development efficiency without compromising product quality
* Enhance Build, Test Automation, Release or deployment processes to prevent future build problems
* Monitor and update technical projects status and communicate with management clearly and timely concerning progress, obstacles, team member capacity, etc.



Who you are:

Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

* BS/MS in Computer Science.
* 0-3 years of proven development and/or DevOps experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and web applications.
* Knowledge and understanding in automating Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, and Agile practices for highly scalable system.
* Knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, and container deployment and service orchestration.
* Working knowledge with open source tools.
* Knowledge with software development/delivery tools such as Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Artifactory, Gradle, Grafana.
* Knowledge with OOP concepts and modern scripting and programming languages like Java, Groovy, Chef, GO, Python, etc.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
