JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY The primary purpose of this position is to receive, store, and distribute materials within the distribution center. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: - Review customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine which items will be gathered and distributed. - Transport items from the production areas to designated areas. - Sort items according to predetermined guidelines and place them on racks and shelves for storage. - Assemble customer orders from items in inventory and transport them to the packing and/or shipping area. - Mark items with identifying information for transport to the correct shipping door. - Enter item information into the computer system. - Compile tickets from customer specifications to calculate production numbers. Supervisory Responsibilities This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.
