Job Overview
This position will be responsible for managing the underwriting and operations process for all NEER Capital finance jobs. This role will require gaining a deep understanding of the residential solar financing industry and combining this with strong operations management skills to guarantee the accurate approval of all financed jobs.

* Track team efficiency and error rates and make data focused recommendations for improvements to the deal processing processes
Job Overview
Leaders in this role are responsible for the financial performance and compliance of an assigned portfolio of electric generating facilities and associated financings. The successful candidate supports strategic planning and decision making with respect to NextEra Energy Resources generating assets and project financings, including acquisitions, divestitures, site repowerings and other significant transactions. Individuals in this role communicate with various stakeholders, including business partners across the organization as well as senior management and outside lenders and investors regarding operational and business issues that impact financial performance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Manages a team responsible for performance of key financial functions for an assigned portfolio of electric generating facilities and associated financings
* Directs the preparation of monthly forecasts, internal and external operating reports and other discrete reporting as required by financing and partnership agreements
* Manages the development and maintenance of financial models for financings and partnerships, including due diligence support and pro forma development
* Manages cash flows, oversees profitability and supports strategic planning and decision making for generating assets in support of associated project financings and tax equity arrangements
* Prepares and reviews ad hoc financial analyses, reports and models as required that include scenario or impact analysis on potential transactions and business decisions
* Leads or assists with value-added projects such as such as acquisitions and divestitures as well as software
* Delivers presentations for third-party lenders/investors
* Trains and mentors team members
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's - Accounting / Finance/ Business
* Experience: 7+ years

* Master's - Accounting / Finance
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
