Boeing Talent Acquisition and Boeing Digital Solutions is currently looking for a Solution Architect to join their team in Englewood, CO. This position will focus on supporting the Data Solutions business portfolio.

A successful candidate will lead architecture activities, building and maintaining architecture solutions, and keeping our views and models up to day, while ensuring we are meeting the portfolio goals for delivery of software and data for our customers.

Position Responsibilities:

* Leads activities to define requirements, design and verify robust architecture, data information management systems and components.

* Leads the identification of design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements.

* Incorporate architecture functions into software development lifecycle.

* Leads the development and configuration management of architecture views and models.

* Assesses of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives.

* Performs trade-off analyses.

* Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into system environments.

* Drafts data and information management products and service standards.

* Assesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle.

* Develops architecture and data/information management standards and strategies.

* Coaches and mentors other solution architects.

Export Control Requirement:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* 8+ years of cloud architecture experience (e.g., cloud native development, HA/DR configuration, cloud security configuration, microservice patterns, serverless, virtualization and container orchestration, cloud Dev/Ops and automation, IaaS, PaaS)

* 8+ years software engineering experience

* 5+ years leading and mentoring Architects and Software Engineers in a leadership role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with any of the following is desired:

* Bachelor's degree or higher

Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position will offer relocation to eligible candidates.
