The Health Software QA team is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help us ensure that our research application are high quality and user-focused. We're looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role in qualifying iOS and watchOS applications. We practice agile, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between Engineering and QA. As a member of our fast-paced group in Apple Health, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to qualify and improve the software that allows our products to delight and inspire millions of Apple's customers every day. We are looking for a teammate who will scope and bring up new test plans, execute manual and automated test passes, and improve testing procedures.



Key Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience working in Software Quality Assurance on iOS
* Experience performing ad-hoc testing on Unix based systems to investigate and debug difficult problems and independently work towards results
* Experience in building and running automated testing
* Experience leading and owning a project
* A passion for health and health-related technology
* Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
* An enthusiasm for user-focused design & high-quality technology
* At ease and adaptable in a dynamic and informal environment
* Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
* Excellent communication skills are a requirement to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within Apple
* Inquisitive and seeks to take on everyday problems in innovative ways

In this position, you will need to be self-motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills. You will handle responsibilities such as the functional testing of the Research application, identify high impact issues and drive solutions. You will create, design, and implement test plans and test cases, risk analysis, & integration testing across the system.

BS in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience in QA

* Experience in the Medical, Clinical and/or Health industry is a plus
* Background with validating and debugging iOS applications
