Job Summary

The Center of Excellence Director is responsible for leading a US based team to deliver COE services, managing associated technology to deliver these services in support of service lines of Engineering, Facility Management, Energy & Sustainability, Project Management and Environmental Health & Safety. This position requires collaboration with the Account Leadership team, the Client, and Regional Leadership to enable consistent delivery of JLL Services for the WeWork Account. Results are primarily obtained through continuously innovating Operational procedures, Client collaboration, partnering with business intelligence (BI) and peer service lines to build innovative tools, dashboards and processes for developing governing results while communication results.

The candidate must be able to lead a large team through high performing team leader, direct reports who are responsible for service lines within COE. Leadership includes establishing the strategy for COE, supporting the team with operational details as needed, consistently making effective, high quality decisions and guiding the team through critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

* Establish strategy and goals for COE and support direct reports to execute against COE and client goals.

* Accountability for results of the COE team in the areas of Facility Management practices, including Business Continuity, building level financials, Customer Experience, Facility Inspections used to build Repair & Maintenance budgets, work order management, Communications and PMO activities and centrally executing Client initiatives.

* Accountability for supporting Engineering in the areas of JLLs Operations Compliance Program (OCP), preventative maintenance programs, Development and Management of Facility Inspection program, Mobile Engineering processes if applicable.

* Accountability for results for COE EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) in the areas of Environmental compliance with laws, codes and regulations including managing the client database for all properties.

* Governance of regional staff of Facility Management and Engineering, responsible for direct execution of consistent services which includes development and management of applicable playbooks for the WeWork Account.

* Support growth of JLL Services on the WeWork Account which includes maintaining rapport with JLL Corporate service lines and developing service and technology offerings.

* Collaboration and leadership with peer Business Services leaders on account.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree and MBA or other secondary degree is preferred

* A minimum of 10 years experience in commercial real estate and/or Facilities Management

* Proficient knowledge of Facilities management, Facilities Engineering, Energy and Sustainability, and Environmental and Safety

* Experienced in supporting Hospitality, Retail and Office Based portfolios

* Previous experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, agile environment

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate measurable results in storytelling format

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, Outlook, and Access)

* Outcome-based mindset

* Detail oriented, organized, flexible, and a desire to tackle new challenges

* Ability to move people to action, including self, with a sense of urgency

* Proven track record of excellent internal and external customer service
