The Business Systems Analyst, Data Analytics at Auris Health, Inc., part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is redefining medical intervention. By combining advancements in medical robotics, instrumentation, navigation and data science, Auris is building a platform technology capable of rapidly growing the applicability of robotics to a spectrum of medical procedures. The Analyst will join a team of hardworking roboticists and software engineers who are trying to solve some of the most difficult problems in medicine today. This role will be responsible for identifying and documenting the requirements the data platform needs to implement to facilitate our analysis of data. The individual should be passionate and decisive about understanding team member needs and translating them into requirements for system development. As system development progresses, the role will also provide guidance into reporting requirements/report development, UI, and coordinate or conduct UAT and the final evaluation of the system solution. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, self-motivated, curious and willing to help us advance the world of medical robotics.
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain requirements for the Auris Data Platform.
* Develop compelling dashboards for various team members across the organization.
* Perform ad-hoc analysis with Product Owners to help them understand the data.
* Work closely with the data engineers to ensure ETL and integrations are fully detailed and understood.
* Support internal groups requests for data from the platform and participate in training new platform users.
Qualifications
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; a field in Information Technology or similar is preferred.
* 3 years in business systems analysis related job roles is required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
* Experience with cloud-based systems design and development is required.
* Experience with agile project management is desired.
* Experience in an FDA regulated field (Med Device/Pharma) is a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly evaluate, learn, put to use, and integrate new technologies to solve a problem is preferred.
* Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 is required.
* This position is located in Redwood City, CA, however, remote candidates will be considered.
