Job Description

This role is responsible for portfolio management of all branch technology projects and will include branch technology infrastructure strategy and employee experience. The incumbent will partner with the branch technology delivery leader, and other technology support groups, to deliver a best-in-class technology experience for branch employees. The incumbent will report into the head of Consumer Business and Banking technology while building and maintaining a strong relationship with the Employee Technology Experience executive. U.S. Bank is focused on improving employees satisfaction with technology across the enterprise, and the branch network has many facets that contribute to the overall technology experience.

This executive will also need to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the branch product managers, as they devise their overall branch execution strategy. They must be able to communicate effectively to senior leaders throughout the company, up to and including Vice Chair and CEO level.

The incumbent will focus on ensuring stability, quality and strategy for branch technology infrastructure including:

* End user devices workstations, portable devices, special printers, scanners
* Network strategy and capacity needed to support the applications and devices, including WiFi and future 5G rollout
* Works with the business and development organization to set the strategy for next generation devices, eg iPads
* Monitors overall satisfaction, branch employee tech experience and general performance of all tech infrastructure needs as listed above

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent educational field
* 15+ years of combined relevant leadership experience in organizational goal setting, with strategic and technical experience.
