Job Description

The Business Control and Supervision (BCS) team directly supports Markets & Securities Services globally within the Institutional Clients Group. The goal of BCS is to establish and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business. Responsibilities include implementing and overseeing the MSS control framework, leading critical control remediation projects, facilitating controls and conduct governance, interacting with regulators, Internal Audit and Compliance, delivering business analytics and reporting, monitoring and analyzing key risk and control indicators.

BCS is looking for a highly energized, dynamic project analyst with knowledge of financing transactions, collateral and liquidity management who is ready to join a fast-paced, world leader in the financial services industry. The successful candidate will support project manager of the Derivatives & Securities Financing Transactions (DSFT) initiative to implement an enhanced control framework across first and second line functions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collection of identified data quality or reconciliation issues across all DSFT related control
* Rapid investigation teams specializing in specific controls and systems
* QA review of the current controls for completeness and structure
* Manage the process for identifying / analyzing variances between Risk and Treasury and confirming data completeness and feeds
* Review daily variances between Product Processors and Aqua / Ocean
* Manage monthly DSFT attestation process for all Citigroup businesses
* Produce consolidated reporting of all identified DSFT Data Quality and Remediation Issues
* Produce and manage agenda, materials, participants, for the DSFT Identification Forum (DIF)
* Coordinate the inclusion of DSFT related items into the appropriate MCA
* Track progress for all MRAs / CAPs / JIRAs / IMRs etc. related to DSFT data quality

Qualifications and Competencies:

* Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
* Ability to drive change and effectively manage projects and stakeholders
* Strong organizational leadership and influencing skills
* Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
* Strong business analysis, problem solving and analytical skills
* Possess a strong knowledge of control design and metrics
* Excellent oral and written communications skills; Must be articulate and persuasive.
* Keen sense of urgency and eagerness for ownership
* Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint and Visio.
* 4-5 years experience in project management and business analysis
* Knowledge of financing transactions and liquidity management
