Position Summary:
The Operating Room Surgical Technician assists with surgical instruments in the OR based on procedure performed, standards, guidelines, and policies set for the unit. He/she functions under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and surgeon
Up to 8k Sign on Bonus available based on experience
Qualifications:
Education
Required: High School diploma or GED Certificate, Graduate of approved surgical tech school, unless LPN with a minimum of 2 years surgical experience
Experience
Preferred: 1 year experience as surgical technician
Certifications
Required: Florida LPN Licensure, if not a Graduate of approved Surgical Tech School, American Heart Association BLS
Preferred: Surgical Technology Certification
Full Time Day Shifts
Current employees of the Unit have seniority priority for consideration
Minimum of 2 years surgical experience required for sign on eligibility
