PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Parking Attendant, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services
* Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guests vehicle for their departure
* Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
* Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance
* Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion
* Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions
* Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty
* Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation
* Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary
* Perform other job-related duties as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Two (2) years of experience working in a service related positions
* Experience working in a similar resort setting
* Bilingual
