Location: Palo Alto, CA

Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC. seeks a Senior Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team.

Expectations and Tasks:
Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues. Expertise in building code while ensuring highest quality through test driven development, integration tests, code coverage. Initiate and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Write testable software including writing unit tests. Work closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success. Improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Advanced overall product and technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team and organization. Advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards. Troubleshoots through full stack. Work in a fast-paced environment with ability to delivery feature end-to-end. 10% travel required.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.

Work Experience:
Experience must involve 4 years in the following: SAP Banking, ABAP OO, BAPI, ESOA Rest Services, SAP PI; SAP Hana Programming and Modelling [Calculation View, Analytic View], HANA SQL scripting, Stored Procedure, JDBC integration, and CDS view; Nodejs, Javascript, HANA XSA [Javscript] based development; Hybrid Mobile App development [Cordova, Ionic] and SAP Sybase Unwired Platform; SAP UI5 and Fiori based Web Development; SAP JAVA [J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot] based development; SAP Neo and SAP Cloud Foundry Based App development [Microservices, Domain Driven Design, Event Processing, Backing Services, Service Broker]; Internet of Things: Micro-controllers: [Arduino, Waspmote, Raspberry-pi], IoT Platform: ThingsSpeak; and Agile Methodology, Waterfall Model, Scrum. Experience must also include: Software Testing [Automated Unit Testing, Integration Test, Component Tests]; SAP JVM Performance Analysis [Thread dump, Memory Analyzer-MAT] and Network Trace-TCPDump; SAP Hybris Development [Ecommerce Modules, OCCv2 Web services, BackOffice]. 10% travel required.
