Cloud Security Architect - SAP Product and Application Security

The Role

In this role, you will need to understand and navigate complex scenarios with the goal of increasing the security posture of SAP, navigate conflict and perform in stressful situations, and have the courage and/or firmness of will and mind when faced with adversity or resistance. Multi-tasking and extreme efficiency in time management and prioritization is very helpful, as well as being Outcome oriented and execution focused with ability to understand and convey the value of security within an organization.

Being able to communicate and articulate in a clear and understandable fashion to seniors, peers and colleagues and being able to fully believe in, and be committed to, the team concept while acting as a role model for others to emulate is very important as this will be a multinational and multicultural team.

Role Requirements

As Security Architect, you will develop to improve the security posture of SAP products. You will also help develop tools that allow lines of business (LOBs) to adhere to and implement the more stringent security standards. The position is responsible for building compelling knowledge cross solutions working with the broader SGS team, and subject matter experts inside and outside SAP Global Security to collect and maintain all elements of information security.

* Bachelor's degree (or comparable in-firm training) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline preferred
* 5+ years of experience in computer security and cloud based security experience is a must
* Solid background in developing secure SaaS solutions and building the security components of cloud services
* Building and managing security for high performance, multi-tenant cloud services
* Strong knowledge about technology and security measures of SaaS, PaaS solution offerings
* Excellent software systems design and architecture skills; ability to work with cutting edge methodologies for secure and high scale cloud services.
* Proven ability to conceive of, document, present and drive implementations of standards for security within the company, with partners and in the industry
