SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST

PPG industries, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania responsible for participating in applications development, maintenance and enhancement IT projects. In this highest-level role in our Systems Analyst Family of Jobs, this position focuses on maintaining integrations and configurations within the Human Resources Workday System. Specific duties include: (i) providing IT support with respect to the job profile, position management and compensation configuration software functions/applications for Workday; (ii) preparing technical documentation for the companys acquisition playbook designed to enable a repeatable HR and IT integration process for future acquisitions; (iii) supporting IT configuration and data loading requests during the implementation and enhancement of Workday across all company HR operations; (iv) gathering end-user requirements from internal customers and writing functional design solutions to provide optimal IT support and serving as the backup integration Team Lead during the integration enhancement assignments of Workday; (v) providing ongoing technical integration enhancements to the Workday system once the initial hyper care support has been implemented across all internal users; and (vi) testing the final technology to confirm complete functional coverage.

Must have a masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of experience in a directly related position. Alternate requirement: bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field plus seven (7) years of experience in a directly related position.

Must have three (3) years of experience (can be concurrent) with each of the following: (i) Workday HCM implementation and overall knowledge of the Workday toolset; (ii) leading the development of Workday integrations with external systems such as payroll providers, financial applications, and recruiting/onboarding tools; (iii) applied experience with Workdays Compensation process framework (Core & Advanced) through the execution of projects in this area; (iv) performing unit tests and facilitating functional testing with HR business partners; and (v) analyzing and translating requirements into functioning business processes to be implemented.
