The Finance Director, reporting to the Senior Director of Sales & Commercial Finance - Quaker, supports all channels across the Quaker portfolio, as well as leads the Pricing agenda to develop a comprehensive and balanced multi-year pricing strategy to ensure the business unit delivers Net Revenue and Profit to meet corporate targets. The Finance Director will play a critical role in developing the strategy to deliver the business plan and provide overall support in analyzing results, providing insights for Period Close, Forecast, Liability Review, Incremental Funding Requests (IFR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Pricing Agenda - including Trade Optimization, Price Pack Architecture and visual pricing actions, establish pricing curves across channels (including innovation) and adherence to guidelines, Quarterly Business Plans (QBP), and ad hoc financial analysis to support the growth and strategic decision making for the business. This position manages 7 Finance FTEs (Managers & Analysts).

Responsibilities Include:

* Lead the AOP process for the Quaker Field, including developing customer Net Revenue and Profit targets and drivers of growth for the AOP financials, gaining alignment of strategy with Quaker Leadership

* Lead the Pricing Agenda, partnering with cross-functional teams with a comprehensive balanced multi-year pricing strategy across price pack architecture, visual pricing and trade optimization

* Support and provide financial leadership, analyzing results and providing insights from a channel and category perspective that lead to problem solving and business improving recommendations

* Communicate business results to Quaker Leadership on a periodic basis, as well as supporting QBP and AOP

* Lead the Trade Management process, including Quaker Liability analysis and evaluating the outstanding trade accruals for the Quaker business unit on a periodic basis

* Evaluate incremental trade funding requests and provide recommendations and decisions as part of the Customer Investment Council (CIC)

* Lead the development of price pack architecture projects (including innovation), delivering business and channel strategy guidelines

* Communicate Quaker pricing from a category and competitive perspective, as well providing scorecard tracking on pricing execution in the market

* Ownership of Quaker Strategic Role of Trade (SROT) on all packs across all channels, including Innovation

* Support Sales Strategy in further developing customer strategy to drive profitable Net Revenue Growth

* Support Supply Chain and Sales Strategy in assessing category and channel demand and capacity outlooks

* Manage direct reports, providing training and coaching for their position responsibilities while being accountable for overall team deliverables. Provide constructive feedback, career coaching and manage PDR progress throughout the year making sure team is clear on how they are tracking versus their deliverables

* Perform ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested

Qualifications/Requirements

* Bachelors Degree Required (Finance preferred)

* MBA preferred, CPA is a plus.

Work Experience:

* 10+ years of progressive responsibility, ideally with supervisory experience, in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Sales Finance, Revenue Management, Financial Accounting and Control. Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g. Marketing, Sales, R&D, Operations, Procurement, etc.)

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications

* Must be willing and able to travel 5-10% of the time
