The Dish Business team is looking for a Reporting Analyst to build, improve, and maintain meaningful reporting for stakeholders of Dish Business and more specifically Dish Fiber. Analyzing and understating data from a variety of sources, the Reporting Analyst will develop reporting summaries that provide useful, actionable insights to management. The Reporting Analyst will also maintain recurring reports on programming, hardware, financial trends and budget performance within Dish Business. A successful Reporting Analyst will have a strong attention to detail while working while working with a complicated and diverse business, the ability to approach problems in a critical & measured manner, and the ability to multitask multiple reports from different sources. A Reporting Analyst will also have strong communications skills necessary to effectively explain pertinent trends and to highlight key department activities.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
* Improve and automate current recurring and ad-hoc reports where necessary.
* Create meaningful dashboards for sales team and upper management.
* Work cross-departmentally to identify and improve reporting needs.
* Manage competing deadlines to process and disseminate diverse types of reoccurring and ad-hoc reports.
* Use a variety of reporting tools and systems to process requests, including SQL, Tableau, SalesForce, Oracle, G-Suite and Microsoft Office.
* Analyze results from queries and scripts, prepare reports, analyze the results and provide suggestions to the causes of trends and outlier.
* Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
* Coordinate QA efforts in the department. Identify errors on accounts and in data and work with department team members to implement corrective measures.
* Be able to quickly and effectively analyze data, identifying trends and summarizing key details to highlight immediate business impacts.
A successful applicant will have the following:
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university;
* Four years of relevant work experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office tools, G-Suite, particularly Excel, Tableau, and SQL.
* Ability to interact cross-functionally with various levels of employees and with management.
* Well-developed analytical skills, including the ability to handle competing requests from customers, partners, and internal colleagues.
Compensation: $48,600.00/Yr. - $65,000.00/Yr.
