Job Description
Riverbend Health and Rehab is looking for dedicated cooks for key full and part time positions. We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, and a chance to make a difference in the lives of seniors.
We are currently seeking:
* Full time Morning Cook. 5:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
* Full time Evening Cook. 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
* Prep Cook. 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
* Part time Cook
Position Summary:
Assists in the preparation and/ or service of meals/ food for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Dietary Manager. Serves food and snacks according to the planned menu/spreadsheet and the patients/resident's food preferences and diet order.
Responsibilites & Duties:
* Using proper food handling/ safety techniques prepares quality food of the proper quantity
* Completes task on time as scheduled, and is in accordance with the menu & residents diet order
* Wash dishes when necessary or when instructed to do so by the Dietary Manager.
* May perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager when necessary.
Qualifications:
* Must possess, as a minimum, high school education
* Experience in food prep and service preferred.
* Food handlers permit preferred
* Superior customer service skills required
