Section 1: Responsibility Summary
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), located in West Chester PA, is the center for the monitoring and analysis of risk affecting Qurate Retail Group (QRG) global operations. The GSOC supports the protection of team members and corporate infrastructure providing the business timely communications and actionable intelligence. The GSOC Operator provides exceptional customer service, professional response to emergency situations and displays the values set forth by the CREWS Global Security Organization.
The GSOC Operator, under the guidance of the GSOC Assistant Manager, is responsible for monitoring the security of team members, guests, facilities and properties. The GSOC Operator will proactively monitor all QRG headquarter campuses, fulfillment centers, contact centers, remote offices and international markets across all QRG brands. The GSOC will analyze data and escalate to QRG stakeholders, as appropriate, any adverse situations that can impact business operations and the safety and security of QRG team members globally.

Key Accountabilities
25% Monitor and investigate alarm activity across global locations to dispatch appropriate security response teams and stakeholders. Write, escalate and distribute incident reports. Assess open source information that can be utilized to develop intelligence and risk reports.
25% Utilize and understand the Incident Commander Program to manage incidents and events as appropriate. Convey relevant and vital information in a concise and accurate manner to senior management and stakeholders to inform key leaders of potential business disruption and life safety concerns. Utilize command center tools/resources (video wall, mass notification tools, set up conference bridges, ISOS Travel Tracker, badge/alarm activity screens, CCTV etc.) to include Intrusion Detection and fire protection systems.
20% Assist with metric report development using multiple applications, including Microsoft Office, the access control system and visitor management system. Monitor and track alarm volume activity (alarm abatement) to identify hardware issues and resolutions. Report security system issues and malfunctions to ensure timely response and corrective action.
15% Partner with key QRG stakeholders in IT/Data Center, Cyber Security, Data Privacy, Ethics and Compliance, Environmental Health & Safety, Global Security Investigations, Team Member Relations, Legal, Global Crisis Management, Global Business Continuity, Broadcast & Engineering, Talent Service Center teams. In addition, coordinate with public agencies to address incidents and events at QRG locations.
10% Serves as a primary resource during crisis events and incident escalation. Accurately assesses emerging and developing information to adequately determine what group or teams are required to manage business disruptions.
Support and monitor mission critical events. Dispatch security resources to respond to medical emergencies and other security events. Monitor global travel security events globally that have the potential to impact QRG global business travelers and their safety.
5% Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
Section 3: Critical Skills/Knowledge
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
* Access Control/Video Surveillance System experience
* Experience with International SOS tools/resources such as Travel Tracker preferred
* Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems
* Answer internal and external calls in a high volume environment
* Experience in conducting research and analysis
* Ability to multitask in fast past work environment
* Comfortable with the latest technology, and eager to learn new tools and new innovations
* Must be willing to work during mission critical events to support a 24/7/365 Operation
* Must possess a valid Drivers License
* Be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
* AED/CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment)
* Ability to work flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
Section 4: Qualifications
Minimum Education: Associate degree (2 yrs.) in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or other relevant field preferred; or, equivalent experience.
