Job Functions / Responsibilities
SUMMARY
Kenworth is seeking a self-motivated and results-oriented individual to provide leadership and supervision for the Order Processing team within Resident Engineering. This role will provide support on daily items concerning sales order processing to ensure group goals are met and will serve as a focal point for product engineering and other related departments on sales order issues. Identifies and promotes the continuous improvement of sales order processing.
NATURE OF DUTIES
* Supervise and lead the Order Processing team
* Work with other PACCAR divisions to improve Resident Engineering processes
* Establish team goals and strategies for fulfilling these goals
* Lead initiatives to achieve performance goals and track performance toward these goals
* Provide performance feedback and performance appraisals to team members
* Provide performance statistics for reporting purposes
* Provide technical support and communication to dealers and other internal/external customers
* Recruit, hire and develop new team members
* Assist team members with resolving issues
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Champion projects outside the department
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in related field
* Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership skills
* Proven organizational and project management skills
* Demonstrated high level of initiative and follow through
* Demonstrated high level of flexibility
* Demonstrated ability to understand complex tasks
* Must be capable of multi-tasking & detail oriented
* Must be an open and effective communicator with strong presentation skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows suite
* Must meet physical requirements with or without accommodation.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
* Three to five years of manufacturing experience; preferably possessing two years with PACCAR
* Six Sigma or related training
* MS or MBA
