The Software Development Analyst will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. He/she will be involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Daily task includes debugging, troubleshooting and providing users support on existing HPC systems. Analyst will debug tool performance, analyze job queue requirement, and perform system maintenance tasks. Construction of application roadmaps and process documentations. Provide user support through email, chat, or phone in agreed upon service level agreement. Maintain application health and collect application user metrics monthly to program management office.
This position will support both open area and classified area systems (DoD/SSBI/SCI).
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
bull; Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline and at least 9 years of professional experience; 7 years of relevant experience with a Master rsquo;s degree.
bull; Experience with engineering application such as Python, Perl, Ansys, Mentor, Cadence, Siemens and/or Matlab
bull; Proven experience with Linux and Windows Operation system with System Administration skills
bull; Experience with Linux and Windows programming or scripting
bull; Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
bull; Proven experience with parallel programming techniques, resource sharing and scheduling, high speed networking and parallel storage and memory technologies.
bull; Must be versed in MPICH message passing, job queuing theory and GPGPU systems.
bull; Must be able to physical lift 50 lbs of hardware and perform task in data center environment.
bull; Experienced at troubleshooting physical hardware and understanding networking theory and equipment is a required
bull; Must be able to pass CompTIA security+ certification and Red Hat Linux certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
bull; Past experience with design and building hardware and software parallel architected systems.
bull; Experience with setting up software configuration management database such as DOORS, Subversion, and/or Atlassian
bull; Experience with Linux Operating System with System Administration skills
bull; Active DoD Top Secret SCI/SSBI clearance
