Responsibilities:
In coordination with our Brand Marketing and Creative partners, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of posting appealing and creative digital content for the companys 4 brands across relevant social media platforms. You will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and work closely with brand marketing and creative team members to continue to create and drive social engagement, click-throughs, and add to our engaged social base. Additionally, you will be the voice of the brands in our digital channels including responding to incoming messages and responding to live chat requests and coordinating participants in our Social Influencer program.
Your passion for social media as a communications tool will result in the adoption and implementation of social media best practices across all social media channels.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, understand how to place and promote compelling creative and consistently perform as a team player. You will be an active participant in data collection and analyses to iteratively improve the companys social media practices.
Daily Functions Include:
Managing a high volume of daily social media posts via the social content calendar.
Balancing the content calendar to represent key pillars across each brand. Eg: product feature, DIY inspired, UGC, etc
Managing approval and release workflows for posts.
Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Creating, optimizing, and maintaining user generated content workflows with brand team members to increase social engagement and click-throughs. Pixlee experience is a plus!
Managing deliverables and photography assets acquired through social influencer programs.
Representing each brands voice and tone in responding to incoming inquiries via email, DM, and through posts via Social Studio.
Responding to Live Chat inquiries and/or routing for care as needed.
Encouraging engagement to remain on topic and relevant to brand interests.
Performing other duties as needed
Experience & Skills:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Marketing, Creative Writing, Communications, or related field preferred.
2+ year equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Community management & social experience. SFMC Social Studio preferred.
Desire to grow and own social practice. Commitment to continued education through SF Marketer and related certifications.
Basic graphic and video skills including resizing to process content as needed.
Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics power user. Familiarity with CRMs.
Highly motivated self-starter who is a team player and a problem-solver who can work independently and contribute to a growing, saavy Digital Marketing team.
Strategic thinking, prioritization skills, troubleshooting and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to communicate verbally and written in a clear, concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain constructive work relationships (take feedback) from internal and external stakeholders.
Above average planning, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
Extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow-up.
Desire to master new skills and tools quickly and remain current with the latest tools & technologies
