Description:
Work with Operations to support day to day manufacturing issues. As part of an integrated team environment (Quality/Material support personnel) the applicant will identify and address long-term recommendations that will lead to reduction of throughput time and increase quality. This job will require a highly motivated person who likes working with a skilled work force in a shop environment. Job responsibilities will include a focus on the repair of fielded aircraft components and working closely with the component evaluation process. Creating and maintaining field repair/assembly process plans. Working with purchasing to support supplier issues and outsourcing. Support and interact with shop floor personnel to streamline processes.
Basic Qualifications:
The candidate is expected to have experience interacting with a diverse multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural group and should be able to work with both management level and shop floor communications. Need the ability to handle multiple tasks. Technical writing experience and proficiency is essential. Experience with Sikorsky engineering manufacturing and repair processes are required.
Desired Skills:
The preferred candidate will have a strong background in dynamic systems (Transmissions, Hydraulics, and Rotors)
