Summary:
Need an experienced Program Manager (Business Process Architect) for Production Configuration activities that utilize SAP Variant Configuration and integrate with various functional areas like Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Finance and Global Services.
Job Responsibilities :
The Business Architect drives the functional alignment between strategic goals and key business decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives. The primary focus of this person's work includes the analysis of business motivations and business operations, through the use of business analysis frameworks and related networks that link these aspects of the enterprise together.
* Drive process standardization & business metrics within their process area
* Manage project planning, work breakdown, and time tracking
* Benchmark end-to-end best practice
* Sign-off detailed design on time
* Resolve all process integration gaps and escalations
* Identify & mitigate risk w/ signed off plan
* Vet customizations
* Document integrated process/value stream map including QMS documents
* Drive training content and documentation of transactions (eg: Camtasia, Applied X Trng Videos, ect..)
* Initiate and partner on integration test strategy, plan, and scripts
* On-time sign-off of integrated solution BU Exec Mgt and BPO Exec Mgt.
* Supports driving user acceptance of change
Job Responsibilities Product Config BPA:
* * Understand the use of SAP Variant Configurator in the Applied Materials Template, specifically in the following areas:
* 1. Order Configuration (Characteristics, Dependencies etc)
* 2. Pricing and associated Logic
* 3. Quotation Printouts
* 4. Non standard requests
* 5. Order Bills of Material Generation
* * Strong program management ability to lead various crossfunctional integrated programs in Product Configuration and other impacted areas
* Ability to influence decisions and drive programs to completion
Creation and maintenance/approval/execution of multi-year Roadmap for Production Configuration

Monitors, and reports to the business unit on project's cost performance.
Will participate on intra business unit design teams to complete projects. Will contribute to the team's technical development in the pursuit of the team's project goals.
Will research causes to project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions for resolution.
