Description:
Become a vital part of the team that provides High Performance Computing (HPC) to the Lockheed Martin enterprise, delivering robust Simulation, AI/ML, Visualization and Data Lake storage capabilities to the LM business areas.
This position will support the design and development of HPC and utility systems (computation, network, and storage) and perform full stack engineering, including platform support, user software support, and manage queuing software in order to meet the computing needs of research projects. Responsible for System Administration on multiple system platforms and hardware.
Position supports multiple platforms which include small servers and large supercomputers and will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configuration management, configurations, software installation, troubleshooting, user interface and support
This program requires U.S. Citizenship
This position can be located at any Lockheed Martin facility or Telecommuting may be considered.
Knowledge of Infiniband/Mellanux Networking
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience along the lines of below:
Knowledge of various protocols (i.e., DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, SSH, SFTP)
System performance, disk I/O, and network tuning and configuration experience
Ability to work with and support multiple teams to provide overall program support
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7
Administration and Configuration
System Configuration experience
Network Configuration and tuning
Disk Configuration and tuning
Experience working in Agile environment
Working knowledge of common DevOps tools such as Ansible and Gitlab
Desired Skills:
Technical leadership experience on projects
Experience working in Agile environment
Enforcement Mode SELinux with MLS Policy for the purpose of hardening the OS and Software applications such as Apache and Oracle
Fiber Channel (Direct Attach) Storage Array
