We want you to be a part of the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) System Team, which is one of the most sophisticated missile defense systems in the world. Are you ready to take on the challenge? You will function as the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Engineering Authority within the CLS Team supporting the LRHW. You will also conduct maintenance, supply, hardware and software installation/upgrade and provide support to the LHRW unit. Additionally, you will provide New Equipment Training (NET) as well as any required Delta training to the unit. You will also perform the following as part of daily duties:

- Perform all maintenance actions on all equipment

- Manage maintenance through the GoldESP program and work order system at the work location

- Support the US Army in managing LRHW maintenance and sustainment program.

- Install weapon system hardware, software and firmware upgrades and modifications.

The permanent work location for this position is Fort Lewis, Washington with an initial temporary training assignment (8 months) in Huntsville, Alabama. You will serve as a liaison and critical source of support to the home station CLS Team and report to the LRHW Logistics IPT in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is a deployable position for long/short term assignments Outside Continental United States (OCONUS), therefore you must be fully capable and qualified for OCONUS deployment.

Basic Qualifications:
Previous experience with the THAAD system (or similar system).

Technical engineering degree and / or equivalent military background

A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel (or able to acquire one).

Ability to acquire Security+ certification within 6 months of hire.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Candidate may also be required to take a post - offer, pre - employment physical to determine deploy ability capabilities as defined by the contract
Desired Skills:
Previous experience working as a THAAD Field Service Technician (or similar position) for an Army / Air Force / Navy / DoD Missile Program or experience as a Missile Warrant Officer.

Prior experience as a THAAD Field Service Technician or Contractor Logistics Support Technician.

Proven experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar).

Capable of working in and IP environment and has maintenance and logistical background.
