If you are an Accounting & Finance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Russellville, KY location, you will be responsible for compliling, analyzing, and interpreting financial information for the organization. You will be expected to support activities as directed by the Finance Manager.

AS A SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST, YOU WILL:

* Manage the data analysis process for the Annual plan and Monthly forecasting cycle

* Be responsible for generating, maintaining and analyzing reports and data for monthly business unit reviews and business process improvements

* Act as key leader in manufacturing planning, logistics and operations from a financial aspect

* Develop business unit-wide analytical tools for decision support

* Provide cost and general ledger accounting support during the month end close process including: operational management reporting, journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation, and actual vs. budget analysis

* Accurate and timely analysis of Inventory, Reserves, Absorption Rates, Bookings and Backlog

* Assist with preparation of annual tax packages

* Communicate with manufacturing engineering, production control, manufacturing, and quality to build robust business case assumptions

* Provide department managers with Key Performance Indicators to drive execution

WHO YOU ARE:

You understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships. You ground yourself in data and focus on key metrics. You drill down to root causes to gather relevant information. You solicit both input and discussion.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or related accounting experience

* Minimum five (5) years experience in finance or accounting

* Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

* CPA or MBA

* Budgeting, forecasting finance/accounting experience

* Manufacturing experience preferred

* Oracle, Kronos experience
