Memorial Medical Center
GN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame under the direct supervision of an RN. The Graduate Nurse provides care to his/her assigned patients utilizing the nursing process while coordinating care with other health care team members. The Graduate Nurse provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education: Graduate of a School of Nursing Program.
Minimum Experience: Experience in anacute care facility preferred.
Certification/Licensure: State permit to practice as aGraduate Nurse. Current CPR required. NRP required within sixmonths of hire.
For New Hires: Requiredcertification must be obtained with in (1) year of employment. Ifcurrently certified, must maintain currentcertification.
Certification or completion courses must meet the standards ofMemorial Medical Center.
