Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Build and cultivate superb working relationships with global and local partners.
* Plan, advise and be responsible for the development and delivery of an international deployment roadmap.
* Communicate a clear vision of the projects objectives and help prepare a path for the project team to achieve them.
* Take ownership for implementation methodology and continue to tailor and refine in order to optimize for Cepheids business model.
* Develop of project proposals which include prioritization, budgeting, staffing, timelines, and task breakdowns.
* Be a champion for project communications including Steering committee content and weekly status reports.
* Coordinate internal and external staff to complete project work you're doing. Direct and coordinate activities of multi-functional teams to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
* Advance issues encountered and help facilitate successful resolution.
* Passionately review the project status with team members and modify schedules and plans as the need arises.
* Measure project results against project scope. Proactively identify changes in work scope and take appropriate steps to amend the scope of work requirements, budget and timeline
* Perform risk management analysis to minimize project risks
* Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation such that the execution playbook is reusable for the next country.
* Be an IT leader in the participation and development of PMO standard methodologies
TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES: (REQUIRED)
* Finish the assigned and required training on time
* For people managers, ensure your associates attend and finish the required trainings satisfactorily and on time.
Minimum requirements:
Education and Experience (in years):
* Bachelors Degree in computer science, Business, or related field.
* demonstrated ability as an Information technology professional.
* 8+ years of Project Mgmt leadership experience implementing large, sophisticated, multi-country enterprise application projects.
* 8 + years of experience and exposure to SAP ERP system.
* Minimum of 3 (three) SAP turn-key implementation projects.
* 5+ years in leadership role where you developed a team of IT staff.
* 5+ years functional expertise and business experience for global corporation.
* 3+ International business experience.
Knowledge and skills:
* Highly adept I.T. Business Analysis skills.
* Demonstrated solid skills with effective/critical fact-based decision making.
* Successful track record with coordinating, guiding and leading teams during a stressful project.
* Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
Preferred requirements:
* Tier 1 Professional Consulting firm / Systems Integrator experience or IT PMO title for $1B+ size organization.
* MBA or masters degree preferred.
* PMP or SAP Activate certificate preferred
* Life Sciences SAP implementation experience, including computer system validation requirements.
* Experience with Agile tools (like Jira)
* Experience with projects that implemented or coordinated with Salesforce (Sales cloud and Service Cloud).
