Conemaugh Nason Medical Center is looking for a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join their Laboratory team. This position is responsible for collecting, preparing and analyzing, and reporting this information in a prompt manner to the physician for the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
Duties included but are not limited to the following:
- Follows all procedures regarding collection and testing of all laboratory specimens.
- Preforms all testing in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Maintains all testing equipment by performing preventative maintenance at required intervals.
- Maintains phlebotomy proficiency and meets collection time standards.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- MT/MLT degree is required.
- Must be ASCP certified.
- Ability to deal with confidential information.
- Organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient and knowledge of computer systems.
