The candidate selected will be part of CT Application & Cloud engineering team to get involved in researching emerging technologies, developing framework solutions and supporting application teams. The preferred candidate will be able to work independently to solve complex problems and work with geographically spread teams. The preferred candidate will have several years of application development experience in multiple platforms and can complete assigned duties with minimal direction from management.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Play a SME role for private/public cloud engineering function
* Develop & execute proof of concepts with minimal direction and self-starter

* Ability to approach in systematic way to solve complex problems
* Development of frameworks Routing, CT Logging, Monitoring, Authentication, Error handling, Standards checker etc.
* Working closely with application development teams and provide architecture, design and code guidance
* Sharp debugging skills using standards IDE, remote debuggers, CLI based tools
* Play SME role for application development teams to help Cloud, API and Microservices

Experience Required:
* Minimum 2+ years container architecture and docker based development experience
* Minimum 5+ years application architecture framework development/Engg experience
* Container Stack Docker, Kubernetes, Skaffold, Kaniko, Spinnaker, Artifactory, Service Mesh, Container SDLC
* Cloud Spring Cloud Services, Microservices & Cloud design principles, Cloud foundry basic development experience
* Core App tier Tech - Spring Stack(MVC, Core, AOP), Spring boot, Java, JDBC, JPA/ORM, PL/SQL (Any one of DATABASE Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server), Web Services (SOAP/ReST)
* Development Stack IDEs (IntelliJ /Eclipse), Unit Testing tools (JMockit, others if any), Performance Testing tools (Jmeter/ Blaze/ loadrunner), Build tools (Maven/Gradle), CI/CD tools(Jenkins), Logging Splunk
