Join General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The CNIC team is seeking a HBSS Security Analyst to join their teamin Norfolk, Virginia.

As the HBSS Analyst you will perform forensic analysis of digital information and gather and handle evidence as well as identify network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators.

Your key responsibilities:
* Managing, deploying and troubleshooting HBSS clients.

* Configure, operate, and maintain JSP mandated Host Based Security System (HBSS), and on components for Windows, Solaris, and Linux systems.

* HBSS HIPS signature review and verification of signature and exceptions troubleshooting, analyze policy, and perform IPS signature review for accredited systems.

* Managing and troubleshooting ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).

* Install, configure, and maintain HBSS servers and install, configure, and maintain HBSS servers and dependent systems and perform verification and troubleshooting across all HBSS modules.

* Perform system administration on HBSS servers, including ePO upgrades and client product patches.

Basic Qualifications:
* BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

* 2+ years' experience with Host Based Security System (HBSS), ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and Windows, Solaris, and Linux systems

* Secret clearance
