What you will do:
* Participate on new product development teams providing research, guidance and recommendations regarding new parts, specifications, and bill of material structure.
* Work closely with Engineers, Operations, Marketing and Procurement to understand equipment requirements, timeline, and impact of implementation.
* Classify new parts, write/verify technical part descriptions for completeness, accuracy and ensure consistency.
* Implement engineering change management activities for Ecolab equipment designs.
* Write clear and accurate Engineering Record descriptions detailing the equipment changes, the reason for change, and the impact on inventory.
* Use product lifecycle management software to document all Engineering changes, parts, specs, bills of materials and literature from creation stage through obsolescence.
* Work effectively with engineers and conducting end-to-end analyses, from data requirement gathering to data processing.
* Develop, integrate, and improve specification processes in SAP and provide training and process documentation.
* Effective written and verbal communication, especially with the ability to present data in a logical and concise manner.
* Ability to navigate and adapt to ambiguity amidst highly complex situations.
* Understand technical specification documentation including diagrams, process flows, and other information or processes needed to describe required system changes for development.
* Ensure relevant data quality and analytics meet initiatives and technical readiness needs.
* Has the ability to enable Engineering innovation and delivery efforts which impact our engineering processes, improve technical readiness of initiatives, and enhance product and service execution in our manufacturing sites and supply network.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Engineering, Statistics or other data or technical field
* 1+ years of work experience in specifications, documentation, reporting/data analytics or engineering related field
* Experience working with a Product Data Management system (i.e. SAP, Dassault Enovia, Windchill)
* Experience with analytics in the areas of problem-solving skills, collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of data
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
