DISH Wireless is seeking a Contracts Manager for the Wireless Transport Carrier Management Team. The Transport Carrier Management Team is responsible for the sourcing & procurement of DISH's transport network providing connectivity to cell sites, data centers and interconnect platforms for its 5G network.

This team is a key component to the success of DISH's wireless buildout and requires an experienced leader to drive the standards for engineering excellence, cost, and capacity with vendors as DISH radically disrupts the wireless industry landscape.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

* Hire, develop and manage a team of Transport Sourcing Managers
* Develop and lead the sourcing, contract management, negotiation and supplier management strategies and practices of the team
* Responsible for managing all aspects of transport RFPs to achieve best techno-commercial solution for DISH
* Create and manage transport vendor contracts
* Conduct quarterly business reviews with all transport vendors
* Manage all aspects of transport vendor relations
* Establish and manage to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to assure cost and quality control and effective executive reporting
* Develop best practices to qualify and assess new vendors through technical, financial, and commercial reviews
* Assess risk of potential and current vendors and develop risk mitigation strategies and business continuity plans
* Establish strong rapport within team members. Support practices that drive employee engagement, productivity and quality.

The successful Manager will have:

* BS or MS in Engineering or technical degree; or equivalent combination of wireless transport experience and education
* 5-7 years of experience managing in a wireless/transport environment
* 5+ years of managing and negotiating transport RFP's
* Experience managing vendor relationships
* Strong understanding of contract and term sheet management
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Technical understanding of transport networks
* Must possess high energy to maintain a sense of urgency and to set the tone for all teams involved
* Dynamic personality and can quickly establish trust and rapport with all levels of the organization
* Strong ability to document, vet requirements, and drive quality

Compensation: $96,800.00/Yr. - $140,000.00/Yr.
