Job Description

The Director of Strategy and Operations, reporting to the EVP and President of Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS), is a critically important role, working as a strategic enabler for the EVP to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders and help the leader achieve business outcomes. This is not an administrative role; it is a Director level, highly strategic and facilitative role that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role. As the EVPs trusted counsel, the role requires a highly resourceful and self-driven individual with strong emotional intelligence. The role also requires strong inter-personal, strategy formulation and execution and analytical skills.

This encompasses the following primary accountabilities of the role (list is intended to be indicative and can expand based on business need):

* Orchestrate staff meetings, huddles and other key meetings with the EVPs Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

* Drive monthly CTS Board deliverables ensuring accuracy, appropriate content, and on-time delivery

* Support and mentor CTS business units to execute operations reviews with the EVP on an appropriate cadence

* Support SVP of Strategic Planning and Business Line GMs in development of CTS Strategic Plan, coordinate with Finance, Marketing, Technology, and other functions to provide supporting data

* Serve as CTS Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Program Manager, represent EVP on division-wide planning committees, drive quarterly rollout processes and regular SLT reviews to ensure achievement of key milestones and commitments

* Facilitate EVP Monthly Customer Engagement process, solicit content from cross-section of leaders across all CTS business lines

* Serve as PM for special projects, strategic or critical path initiatives working with other business units within Comcast or with vendors

* Facilitate, plan and contribute to annual leadership offsites, all hands and other such organization wide meetings and communications as appropriate

* Prepare financial, operational, and reporting documents required for the EVPs presentations or meetings with internal / external stakeholders

* Coordinate and respond to nominations, program participation and other requests from TPX, Comcast and/or external stakeholders

* Liaison with business partners in HR, TA, Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications and other teams to prepare and review key deliverables

* Attend key meetings with, or sometimes representing, the EVP

* Craft the agenda for key business trips undertaken by the EVP

* Proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of the leaders commitments

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

This role provides privileged access to the inner workings of Comcast and to highly sensitive information.

The successful candidate will be discrete, high-energy, agile-minded, strategic, proactive, a direct communicator, highly-organized and committed to the vision and values of Comcast.

* Generally requires 10+ years related experience plus a masters degree or equivalent

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Knowledge of Comcast and key stakeholders desirable but not essential

* Market research experience a plus

* Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
