The Product Manager, Sr. is responsible to coordinate processes with multiple business units including: Product Development, Actuarial, Marketing, Configuration, and other downstream business units. This position will support the Medicare Advantage Product Development database, Benefit Repository Tool (BRT), in efforts to improve data timeliness and accuracy for downstream users. This position will navigate database solutions for continuous improvement of Product data delivery. This role will work to develop application business requirements and define logic to transform raw data into consumable content.
In addition, the position will have responsibilities in the Medicare Advantage Product Development lifecycle. This position will be responsible for design, filing, and implementation of a Medicare/Medicaid plan. Key responsibilities include working with the Medicare regional leadership to evaluate and monitor existing products within the competitive landscape to support the annual Medicare Advantage bid process. This position will serve as the subject matter expert for Medicare Advantage products and benefits across the organization.
Qualifications
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 4-6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Experience defining business requirements is required. Product management and/or product development experience is highly preferred. Healthcare/managed care experience required. Experience with Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid required. Experience related to the design and development of health insurance products preferred. Travel (10% - may include overnight stays) required.
