Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for an early to mid-career level Project Engineer to join our mission supporting our Production Operations (Prod Ops) organization. In this role you will coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of production projects we support within your area of assigned responsibility. You will support project management of strategic technical projects, problem-solving, and insure effective operation of the overall Prod Ops business rhythm. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to increase production and workload efficiencies through process development and optimization

Associated tasks will include:

Project Management of strategic Special Programs (SP) & Propulsion Manufacturing Center (PMC) & Prod Ops initiatives

Provide recommendations to improve Prod Ops effectiveness and run implementation

Act as surge support to the SP Line of Business (LOB) Project Management Office (PMO) to assure delivery commitments are met in each manufacturing center

Assume any additional tasks or responsibilities as needed

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree from an accredited university

Prior experience working on a technical project from conceptualization and organization, to planning, through to successful completion.

Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Use of SAP, VECAMS, EPDM, MS Project and Excel.

Project leadership experience

Cost Account Management experience

Strong understanding of cost and schedule management.

Ability to present production status to executive management.

Experience in propulsion, mechanical assembly, or welding assembly and test.

Mechanical assembly or welding test and/or production experience.

Space Production or ATLO experience

Procurement or subcontract experience
