Marketing Manager, Advanced Technologies

Huntsmans Performance Products Division is now searching for a new Marketing Manager for its Advanced Technology market segment. The Marketing Manager will assist in the development and execution of a 5-year Americas growth plan for the semiconductor and display formulated cleans and lithium ion battery market segments. This role is an active, full member of the marketing team, located at our Corporate office in The Woodlands, TX.

As the Marketing Manager, you will:

* Ensures the region is receiving the proper support from the internal functional groups to drive projects.
* Monitors and assists in setting the work priorities for the four functional groups (Commercial, Technical, Licensing, Quality) team to ensure they are aligned with the global strategy.
* Coordinate and lead efforts between production, engineering, quality, sales, and supply chain.
* Leads business development efforts in new customer and opportunity development
* Monitors industry needs and trends to assist the team in identifying developing new growth opportunities for the segment.
* Manage and develop relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders in key global companies. Ensures the market segment meets its projected financial growth targets.
* Deliver budgeted CoMa and Revenue growth for the Americas Advanced Technology market segment.
* Identify and develop new growth opportunities and help execute new product launches.
* Provides direction for the R&D team for Innovation and coordinates projects through Stage Gate.
* Identify new customer and industry needs and trends for marketing and R&D to evaluate and exploit.
* Clear guidance to upper management on Advanced Technologys needs, activities, and performance.
* Senior level engagement at key customers and partners for development & delivery of key projects.
* Attends Trade Shows and Conferences.

Skills and experiences required:

* University degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline such as Chemistry, Engineering or Business with at least 5 years marketing, business development, R&D, or sales experience.
* Extensive experience and technical knowledge in the semiconductor or lithium-ion battery market segments preferred.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to deliver successful results at a speed consistent with the demands of this market is required.
* Ability to apply the right mix of leadership, performance, and change management.
* Interacts at business leadership levels across other Huntsman divisions, which requires a high degree of strategic influencing competencies.
* Must develop and maintain personal relationships with large global customers at Senior Management levels, which requires good social skills and competencies. Internal and external credibility is vital.
