Job Description
Edge Routing team is responsible for global load balancing infrastructure at Facebook. It includes multiple DNS, Urlgen, and BGP related services. This team drives performance and reliability of map generation software that handles capacity management aspects of global load balancing for the company.
Software Engineering Manager, Edge Routing Responsibilities
* Provide technical and organizational leadership
* Communicate cross-functionally and drive engineering efforts
* Hold your own in technical discussion, be a subject matter expert, and have strategic influence
Minimum Qualifications
* 5+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management
* 5+ years of coding experience in one of the following languages: C++, Java, and/or C
* Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management
* BA/BS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 4+ years work experience)
