Job Description:
Role will be responsible to document business processes to identify and evaluate risks. Develop audit programs that provide efficient and effective testing of key controls. Execute audit testing and identify areas for improvement. Develop action plans to ensure risks are effectively mitigated.
* Document operational processes as a current state and future state via flowcharts and narratives.
* Identify and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal control processes; identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions relevant to business and risk.
* Participate in the development of audit programs to effectively and efficiently test key controls and properly assess risks in business operations.
* Conduct interviews and perform research to gain an understanding of the business unit(s) and processes being audited.
* Provide risk assessment and education to company associates.
* Perform complex audit testing to determine the operating effectiveness of the key controls and process flow.
* Obtain adequate supporting documentation for findings and conclusions of tests performed; summarize results in work papers in accordance with department policies and procedures.
* Identify and document issues arising from audit testing and present findings to management; develop action plans to ensure risks are effectively mitigated and follow up to determine adequacy of corrective actions.
* Present complex topics succinctly to all levels of the organization.
* Partner with business areas to develop suggestions and creative recommendations for improvement in departments processes, efficiency, and effectiveness; develop leading practices within the audit industry.
* Maintain current knowledge of legal regulations, industry trends and best Accounting/Audit practices (operating and financial activities); make recommendations to improve current programs and processes and to ensure company legal compliance.
* Perform IT risk assessments by reviewing, documenting, evaluating, and testing general system and application controls (security, SoD change management, user access, operations and program development, infrastructure).
* Perform a variety of IT audit reviews, including applications, infrastructure, and systems development.
* Identify opportunities for control improvements in pre/post-implementation of IT systems, upgrades, and other change events.

Heres what youll need:
* Bachelor's Degree (Required) Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* Seven (7) years Financial Accounting and/or Operational Auditing experience, preferably in public accounting. CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA and/or CISM is preferred
* Advanced knowledge of auditing and fraud investigations. Advanced understanding of operational, financial, and regulatory risks and risk mitigation.
* Auditors working in IT Operations must also have strong knowledge of information technology general controls and application controls and working knowledge of CoBIT, NIST and COSO frameworks and/or other leading IT security frameworks.
* Thorough understand of SOX compliance.
* Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across the organization. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
* Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet deadlines, as necessary.
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point). ACL, Power BI and SQL preferred.
* Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight, to company locations.
