GENERAL SUMMARY:
Victoria's Secret Beauty is looking for a Manager of Engineering Process Improvement to join the team! This role is responsible for promoting, facilitating, and executing a Process Engineering System; for assuring product quality meets or exceeds governmental, enterprise, and customer expectations of quality requirements and performance; and to protect Brand integrity. This person has an in-depth knowledge of end-to-end consumer product processes and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Implement Process Engineering Improvement programs across Victoria's Secret Beauty's vendor base.
* Manage operations for all quality inputs including auditing (e.g., product, store, and data, distribution center inspections, vendor performance and quality system evaluations, routine first production vendor performance, and post-consumer complaints.
* Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to evaluate, analyze, and report key quality and process data metrics for all product categories.
* Prepare and disseminate quality management metrics; effectively communicate key quality metrics to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities by recognizing and prioritizing product or process gaps to ensure integrity of product.
* Coach, mentor, and educate teams to drive a consistent continuous improvement culture by setting a leadership example that is consistent with brand expectations.
* Plan, lead, and facilitate Kaizen activities and Six Sigma teams.
* Foster cross-functional relationships to ensure product launches and projects are carried through completion effectively and with high execution.
* Approach projects and challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset; foster a one-team mindset with the end goal of creating best-in-class products.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/CAPABILITIES:
* B.S. in the Engineering or other technical related field.
* 7+ years of quality technical experience in hard-lines, home fragrance, regulated personal care, or drug industry.
* Previous managerial experience leading technical personnel and complex activities.
* Strong knowledge of statistics, SPC (Statistical Process Controls, Quality Tools and advanced problem-solving techniques.
* Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma and Continuous improvement methodologies.
* Superior analytical, administrative, and influencing skills required.
* Knowledge of end-to-end consumer product processes: design to finish goods production.
* Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing in a complex multifunctional environment.
* Comfortable performing multifaceted projects along with day-to-day activities
* Ability to establish credibility as a subject matter expert and utilize expertise to influence, persuade, and make decisions quickly.
