We are seeking a talented Contracts Manager to help support several of our Customer Engagement, Reverse Logistics, and Sustainability businesses. This person will need to have a passion for customers engagement and sustainability initiatives that will have broad application and impact across the Company and beyond. This Contracts Manager will:
Draft, negotiate, and administer commercial agreements, including procurement, grant, licensing, and other types of agreements utilized by Customer Engagement, Reverse Logistics, and Sustainability businesses.
Work directly with counsel to publish and maintain operating guidelines for legal and business teams.
Work directly with business teams and counsel to provide advice on emergent issues and guidance in connection with the launch of new services and products.
Support continuous process improvement and simplification efforts benefiting our legal teams and the businesses we support.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Solid transactional drafting and negotiating skills, including 5+ years of contract management, leading contract negotiations, and redlining/drafting contracts at a law firm, corporation, military, or similar experience.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects at once, and organize and contribute to cross-functional teams.
Experience with technology and commercial transactions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with privacy regulations (CCPA and GDPR) and experience implementing privacy compliance programs.
Experience developing internal processes to track transactions full-cycle.
Passion for customer engagement, sustainability, and human rights initiatives.
Strong computer skills.
JD and in-house experience.
